PADDY POWER SUSPENDS BETTING ON VENABLES 11-5-06
Paddy Power have ceased taking bets on Terry Venables to be the new Middlesbrough manager.
In a surprise move, the odds on Venables were withdrawn last night as the rumour mill went into overdrive with local papers and informed sources all stating that El Tel is the new man at the helm at the Riverside.
But the information that we have is that the bookies have been hasty as the appointment is by no means imminent. Venables has indeed applied for the job but no decision has been made as yet and we firmly believe that Martin O'Neill will be the next Middlesbrough manager.
The book is still open and bets can be placed on all other candidates and here are the available odds.
