MARTIN JOL IN THE FRAME FOR BORO MANAGER 12-5-06
Tottenham boss Martin Jol's name is now in the frame for the Middlesbrough manager's job.
The surprise story coming out of Teesside this morning is that Jol has been made an offer to fill Steve McClaren's shoes, in the region of three million pounds
The story was given credence by a top London journalist this morning and we tried to contact Tottenham Hotspur for clarification but the club declined to comment.
Boro chairman Steve Gibson is currently on holiday so no announcement is expected to be made for the next few days at least, so if the story about Jol is accurate, Paddy Power's odds of 33/1 are extremely attractive. We expect them to start falling over the weekend.
Ertugrul Saglam is also priced at 33/1 to land one of the hottest jobs in Europe. Paddy Power are offering ComeOnBoro readers a free £10 Bet when you open a new account.
