THE BEAN PREMIER LEAGUE PREVIEW 18-11-06
Christopher Bean

Hello one and all, welcome to The Bean Preview where we have a special preview of a special match occurring on Sunday. More on that later but now we will go through the normal shenanigans and predicting the Premiership fixtures for this weekend. Let's commence!
Manchester City v Fulham

Fulham 15/8 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Sweet Jesus - what are Sky playing at? Last week we had to endure a bore draw at Eastlands on the Saturday lunchtime kick off and this weekend we have been rewarded with another treat of watching Psycho's lads against a bunch of cottagers.
Fulham are still rubbish away from home, only managing one victory out of six hundred attempts on their travels, and that was at Newcastle! So therefore in this "epic" match we will see City nick it one-nowt.
Prediction - 1-0 to Manchester City Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Arsenal v Newcastle
Arsenal 3/10 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Draw 10/3 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Newcastle 8/1 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
As William Wordsworth once said (apparently) "Oh what a joy it is to see, Newcastle struggling in the bottom three." And it is brilliant. The air of discontent is growing in barcode land, and Fat Freddy is slowly but surely getting booted out of the door. Well what do you except when you employ someone who has had 20% of his brain removed as manager?
Arsenal have been consistent at home this season. They either win 3-0 or they draw 1-1. There is no chance Newcastle are getting a point so I will be going for the traditional 3-0 win to the Gunners.

Chelsea v West Ham
Chelsea 2/9 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Draw 4/1 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
West Ham 9/1 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
The Hammers returned to losing ways last week as they got beat off the mighty Boro at the Riverside. And their immediate future does not look too peachy as they travel to fortress Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
This one really is a no-brainer. Chelsea never seem to concede at home, and they are quite fond of a 2-0 scoreline. So I shall be plumping for that.
Prediction - 2-0 to Chelsea Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Everton v Bolton
Everton 5/4 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Draw 11/5 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Bolton 9/5 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
It looks like Everton are knackered now thanks to a knee injury to Tim Cahill. The Aussie has been responsible for the majority of Everton's creative play this season and they could well struggle in the weeks to come.
Bolton boss Sam Allardyce was left fuming last week after seeing a two goal lead disintegrate within a space of three minutes. The same mistake will not happen again this week as the Trotters will leave the blue side of Liverpool with a 2-1 win.
Prediction - 2-1 to Bolton Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Reading v Charlton
Reading 5/6 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Draw 9/4 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Charlton 11/4 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Things get from bad to worse at Charlton. After only a dozen matches the Charlton board have decided to sack Quasimodo Dowie due to lack of decent results. Les Reed has now been appointed manager which is a metaphoric rise for him as twelve months ago he was a butcher in Greenwich.
Reading got the winning feeling back last weekend after stuffing Tottenham 3-1, and they will have another victory this weekend brushing aside a torn strewn Addicks by two goals.
Prediction - 2-0 to Reading Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Sheffield United v Manchester United
Sheffield United 8/1 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Draw 10/3 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Manchester Utd 3/10 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Neil Warnock was smiling like a Cheshire cat on Saturday evening after witnessing his side claw back for a 2-2 draw against Bolton. The smile was soon wiped off his face though as it was revealed this week that Paddy Kenny had his eyebrow bitten off during a night out in Halifax. Which is just rewards for the goalie. What was he thinking? Halifax!
Anyhow Manchester United visit Bramall Lane this weekend, and Fergies men look unstoppable at the moment. They have won the last six matches on the bounce, and no doubt they will record the seventh as they will win 2-0.

Middlesbrough v Liverpool
Middlesbrough 15/8 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Draw 11/5 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Liverpool 6/5 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Oh Jesus. I have been dreading this moment all week. The reason being that there is so much logic saying that it will be a Boro win, but there is the nagging doubt of typical Boro Syndrome. Let's have a look at the logic firstly. Liverpool have not won at the Riverside since 2002 and have not scored at the Boro since. Liverpool have only scored once away from home in the league this season which was in the opening day draw. They have lost all their away matches since that draw, and the final nugget of fact is that Boro always beat the big teams.
But now my nagging doubts. Each time I predict a Boro win we get thumped, We have been the ice breakers for a lot of teams this season, including Watford and Sheffield United's first victories in the league. And we have been fucking shite.
But after all this deliberating I have decided to go for a Boro win. And it is only for one reason. I am taking my brother to the game. Due to some genetic defect in my family there is an odd case of Liverpool supporters that run in the family, which includes my brother. Each time he has went to the Riverside to see Liverpool play they get beat, so for that reason a third successive 1-0 victory at La Riv!
Prediction - 1-0 to Boro Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Blackburn v Tottenham
Blackburn 11/8 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Draw 11/5 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Tottenham 13/8 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
It is the battle of two of this year's under-achievers as Blackburn take on Tottenham at Ewood Park this weekend. Tottenham have been boosted by the news that Tainio is fit and ready for action. Whoever the hell he is.
Both teams have been pretty poor this season, but I will have to side with Rovers as Tottenham have a poor away record. It is that bad it is the same as the Boro's! So 2-1 to Blackburn.

Wigan v Aston Villa
Wigan 6/4 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Draw 11/5 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
Aston Villa 6/4 Click Here To Bet - Free £50 Bet
OK I have really had it up to here now with bloody intellectuals and spiritualists. They know nowt about football! In the last few weeks I have had a rocket scientist, a quantum physicist, a feng-shui guru and Steven fecking Hawking predict on the Villa games and none of them were even close!
So this week I thought I would turn the tables and ask someone low in intelligence. Unfortunately I did not have time this week to travel up to Sunderland, so I had to make do and find a tramp. After searching down Linthorpe Road I managed to find one pissed as a newt in the doorway of the Cleveland Centre. Here is how the conversation went.
The Bean: Hello impoverished young scamp
Tramp: How do you do Mr Magoo!
The Bean: Erm.... OK What do you think the score will be between Wigan and Aston Villa?
Tramp: What's that?
The Bean: That is a microphone you filthy scoundrel
Tramp: HeHe! 1-2 1-2 1.... *thud*
At that point the tramp collapsed and was back in la-la land, so therefore I had to take his 1-2 prediction seriously, so a win for Villa!
