The rules are slightly different than they were last season. Here they are.
1. Four points are available for each match, one if you get the outcome correct and one each for either team's correct goal count. Get it bang on and you get a bonus point. Examples;
Boro win 3-2 and you predict 3-1. One point for the Boro win and one point for Boro's three goals.
Boro win 4-2 and you predict 2-0. One point for the Boro win.
Boro win 5-1 and you predict a 1-0 defeat. One point for the opposition's goal count.
2. You get an extra 8 points if you predict the correct round that Boro will get to in the three cup competitions and an extra 8 points if you get the league position correct.
3. If you do not predict, you score minus one point.
4. Match predictions must be in before kick off and can be changed as often as you wish right up until kick off time. League position and cup round predictions must be in before the relevant competition kicks off.
5. In the event of a positional tie, the winner will be the one who got the most four pointers.
