CHARLTON 27-2-05 PREDICTION

Well, well, well, the smogs go through to the last sixteen. Impressive. Or maybe not.

No, the bear was not impressed. The bear witnessed a Boro side with arguably their first choice back four get taken apart on countless occasions by the Austrian Champions in the first 45 minutes. And it's alright for those blaming Schwarzer for another rush of blood to the head, but the bear would like to highlight that Southgate was the one who was ultimately found wanting; what a pass anyway!

So it's back to the bread and butter of the Premiership then. The smog's free fall to mid table obscurity is bound to gain pace against a hard working Charlton side who always seem to be competing for those UEFA Cup places, regardless of their results. Morrison and Downing are big doubts thanks to some crazy Austrian fools, and so again the smog's midfield is ridiculously stretched.

With four first team squad members potentially injured and a full day of training ahead, the omens look bad. The bear expects to see McClaren to go to the tactically obscene, and play Nemeth on the right, Zenden on the left, and Doriva and Parlour in the centre. Can you feel those creative juices?

The bear is happy to acknowledge Hasselbaink's recent return to goal scoring form (in the UEFA Cup!), but Charlton possess a solid back line that will offer little. On the flip side, the smog's will come up against a wealth of World class striking heroes in Johansson, Lisbie, Bartlett, and Jeffers - all significant household names!

Make no mistake about it, the bear has this match down as one of the most uninspiring of the season, but can't see the smog's winning. Therefore, the bear will continue his successful predictions by plumping for a wonder strike from El Karkouri and a 1-0 Charlton win.

The bear's prediction success rate is second to none, and if you've been following them regularly, you could be a very rich smoggell indeed.

It's time to up the stakes, win some coin, and treat your family to a trip to Maccy D's!

TFB. Team Freedom Bear. Always an enigma.
