MAN CITY 13-5-05 PREDICTION
So here it is. The final game of the season and The Bear is back to help you all swell those summer coffers.
It all comes down to the final match, and the bear cannot help but feel a little excited about the potential outcome.
Against all odds, the smogs have clawed it back and are somehow still in contention for that final European spot, despite McClaren's best efforts to finish mid table!
The Bear fully expects McClaren to sit back and defend since a draw is all that is needed.
Leaving Wright-Phillips room to manuevre by attacking just won't happen and make no mistake about it, the smogs are a far tougher defensive opposition then the likes of Aston Villa, as Spurs duely discovered.
This match won't be pretty, but then The Bear isn't too concerned about entertainment right now. The fact is, a point will do it, and McClaren will set his stall out to counter attack. Perfect.
The Bear is happy for this tactic to be employed, with Ehiogu back the smogs look solid at the back.
And with the likes of Downing rejuvenated there is no doubt the smogs have a real counter attacking threat.
The Bear does expect Man City to be well and truly up for this however. Pearce is a legend and one can imagine how fired up he will get his team.
The Bear recognises that this will be a real battle with many heart in the mouth moments for the Boro faithful.
The Bear sees all the typical Boro hallmarks, but this isn't typical Boro. The smogs are sitting seventh, which is an achievement in its own right, and have come together defensively at the right time.
Expect plenty of Citeh onslaughts, but as the smogs hold out and Citeh get desperate, there will be counter attacking chances galore. It's a 1-0 Boro Win and time to celebrate.
Back the bear, win some coin, get drunk, spend night with tranny, book a holiday. Bargain.
TFiB. Thank Fook it's Bear. Believe.
