HARRY'S BIRMINGHAM CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH BEST BETTING TIP

So are you one of the lucky people who are quids in with Harry after the Spurs game then? If you followed my Spurs betting advice, you could have taken today off work and spent it on the internet booking Carribbean cruises and buying small islands in the Pacific.

I placed £300 on six separate outcomes and a Tottenham 2-0 win came in at 7/1. I collected £400 this morning and now I'm going to blow it all on the Birmingham game. Yes, every last single penny.

But when it bounces back on Wednesday morning, it will be an even larger pile. Or else the bank manager will be cutting my Barclaycard in half again...

And it gets even better because this week our chosen bookie is giving away a £25 free bet.

Now it's not often that you get something for nothing from a bookie so I've decided to take full advantage of this generosity and this week, we wil be attempting to bankrupt UKBetting.com.

UKBetting have some really great odds for the Birmingham game and so for my next trick, I am going to break up the £400 that I got back from Ladbrokes into seven parts.

That gives me six bets of £60 each, one of £40, plus one free £25 bet and it's sounding like a bargain already.

So using the hugely popular scientifically proven Haverton method of guessing the result and trying to cover it, we have to say that the Brummies could win this but it is almost impossible to envisage us letting in three, even with Skippy in current form.

I saw him walking out of the bookies earlier today. He stepped out onto the road directly into the path of the approaching number 53 to Hemlington. Luckily, it passed right under him.

But back to Birmingham and I have decided to take the following precautionary bets.

Birmingham 1-0 @ 7/1
Birmingham 2-0 @ 10/1
Birmingham 2-1 @ 9/1

But in reality, Boro are the favourites for a reason and it is the mighty red and white army who I think will triumph.

Can we score three? Possible if Mark Viduka goes the distance or if Jimmy can show a glimpse of what he is really capable of. We can't discount it and we also can't discount Boro failing to register again.

But we are likely to win this game and I've done something a little different this time.

Half time- Draw/ Full time- Middlesbrough @ 11/2
Half time- Middlesbrough/ Full time- Middlesbrough @ 4/1
Middlesbrough win @ 9/5

The straight win doesn't carry good enough odds to back as an edger so I decided to double up. If we are going to win, then it is highly unlikely that we will be losing at half time and even if we are, you still get a fair amount back. At least enough to buy a box of handkerchiefs to dry your eyes with, as you wonder how to tell the Mrs why she won't be getting a birthday present his year.

We are now covered for a Birmingham win, so long as they don't score three and we get at least one definite return if Boro win, whatever the score.

Just the draw to take care of then and I cannot see 2-2. Although if you can, you'll get if for 14/1. Just substitute it in my summary which is here in a moment. I backed;

Draw 0-0 @ 8/1
Draw 1-1 @ 11/2

The next part of the process is to decide which amounts you are going to place on which outcomes and you're on your own a bit here. If you are red and white through and through like I am, you'll no doubt be favouring Boro to chalk up victory number one. But if you're a Blue, you may think differently, so here's the easy way to do it.

From the list, take out Birmingham 1-0 and from the rest, pick the outcome that you think is least likely to happen. Use the £25 free bet for that selection.

Then do the same with the remaining choices and place the £40 bet on that. Place £60 on the other five bets plus Birmingham 1-0 and then sit back and watch the boat come in.

You have to put £60 on Birmingham 1-0 because the odds are only 7/1 and you won't break even if you use one of the lower bets and it comes in.

Just for the record, I placed the £25 free bet on Birmingham 2-1 and the £40 on Half time- Middlesbrough/ Full time- Middlesbrough. These are the two unlikeliest scenarios in my opinion but if you disagree with me, then just adjust your bets accordingly.

But please remember that I am feared in all bookmaker's shops throughout Teesside. I am the man they do not want as a customer, so you really should take my advice...
