BOLTON v BORO POSTPONED
Tonight's Premier league match between Boro and Bolton at the Reebok is off, due to Bolton's undersoli heating having failed and leaving the pitch in an unplayable condition.
The match will be scheduled for a later date and apparently, all tickets will be valid for the re-arranged fixture.
At best, Boro will slip to 14th in the table tonight as the two teams directly beneath us, Aston Villa and Fulham, play each other. A draw in that game would send us into 15th place.
Steve McClaren praised the spirit that the team had taken the postponement in. "They were magnificent" said the Boro boss, as he re-arranged the seating formation for the journey home. Probably.
