Stewart Downing has got the flu and is struggling to be fit for tonight's FA Cup fourth round replay.
Centre-back Chris Riggott could return after missing three games with a back injury and Fabio Rochemback and Brad Jones are fit again and are in the squad.
Andrew Davies, recently recalled from a load speal at Derby, is cup-tied and will miss out along with Franck Queudrue, Ugo Ehiogu and Ray Parlour.
Tony McMahon played the fill ninety minutes of Boro Reserves' away match against Everton yesterday afternoon and Malcolm Christie played for sixty-seven minutes without suffering any fractures. Boro were beaten 1-0.
Coventry's cheeky Cockney chappy Dennis Wise will almost certainly play after returning to the side at the weekend and scoring.
Coventry have no new injury worries. Richard Duffy, Stuart Giddings and Isaac Osbourne are still long-term absentees, all with knee injuries.
