BORO v EVERTON TEAM NEWS - DOUBLE DOUBT FOR BORO
Boro skipper Gareth Southgate and striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink are major doubts for the season's last Barclays Premiership clash at the Riverside against Everton.
Southgate and Hasselbaink limped off with hamstring injuries during Thursday night's remarkable 4-2 UEFA Cup semi-final victory over Steaua Bucharest.
Whether the pair would have been selected anyway is debatable as Steve McClaren looks set to make up to ten changes from Thursday night.
Republic of Ireland midfielder Kevin Kilbane looks set to make an appearance for Everton as Tim Cahill is sidelined with a knee problem.
Manager David Moyes is down on numbers as Mikel Arteta, Nuno Valente, Lee Carsley, Tony Hibbert and Nigel Martyn are all unavailable.
Moyes said: "We will be without several players but the ones who are important to me are the people who can play."
