BORO v MAN UNITED - TALE OF THE TAPE
Ian Barker

Schwarzer v Van Der Sar

Rag doll Sally has been busier than he expected after he signed for the red side. Schwarzer on the other hand is always busy. Both great athletic shot stoppers. Schwarzer is out to prove that he made the right choice by sticking with the Boro. Split decision.

Schwarzer 8pts VDS 8pts

Quedrue v Silvestre

Frank is back and is out to prove that this is his spot for good. The Frenchmen go head to head in a civil war, in which Funtime shows his fellow countryman that last week's goal was no fluke. Funtime Frank has a good record against Man U and watch this continue as he does Silvestre with two nutmegs and a head butt to boot. Frank in eight.

Quedrue 7pts Silvestre 6pts

Riggott v Ferdinand

Rio's still getting the piss taken out of him for turning up for training on his day off. Not the brightest star in the sky is he? And what about his recent haircut as well! Imagine him and Abel in the same side? PMSL! Any way Riggot's really coming to form nicely and Rio? Well in my opinion, he is nowhere near good enough to be England's first choice centre back. Let's see how classy we know Riggott can be.......close call.

Riggott 7pts Ferdinand 7pts

Pogatetz v Brown

Jesus, what the hell is happening at Man U? Have you seen the haircut "Duracel" is sporting? Now that's worse than Abel's and Rio's...... without a shadow of a doubt. This is another example of how Brown is prone to making mistakes! Pogatetz on the other hand........??

Pogatetz 7pts Brown 7pts

Parnaby v Bardsley

Paul the Salford born local lad spent a season being a 'twerp! No really he did! Parnaby has had his moments, but that's all in the past. Both good young lads out to prove they can hack it in the big time. Another sit on the fence decision.

Parnaby 6pts Bardsley 6pts

Maccarone V Richardson

Whoa Massimo!........ Whoa Massimo versus No, Kieran no!................. No, Kieran no!.................! Both players have their moments. Kieran's was at West Brom and Massimo's was at Siena. Let's see if they can do for their own clubs. Massimo to win by a hair.

Maccarone 8pts Richardson 7pts

Boateng v Scholes

Shock, horror part 2. George was not his usual outstanding self against West Ham. Let's hope he was saving himself for United. Watch Scholes find out who is the real midfield general as George puts holes in Scholes's armoury with a tough tackling display. George to win in the final round.

Boatang 8pts Scoles 7pts

Rochemback v Smith

Dirty, Dirty, Dirty Leeds turncoat. How does Smith sleep at night? It's an absolute disgrace. Enough to make any true fan that cares about their club shake their head in disbelief. Moving on.....Rochemback has been taken out the firing line lately (you see what I did there?) and has been down the shooting range to get his practice in. Let's hope his sniper skills have improved and that the guy shoots down his duck at the Riverside.

Rochembak 7pts Smith 8pts

Mendieta v Park

Mendieta is now starting to come back to form! Bout bloody time! South (Korean) Park is hard working and never stops. The former Purple Sanga will be shocked to discover Mendy owns three dogs and they are over 4 years old! This leaves Ji Sung feeling hungry and he loses his appetite for the game feeling homesick. Mendi to win in the fifth.

Mendi 7pts Park 6pts

JFH v Rooney

Oh dear.............

JFH 6pts Rooney 9pts

Yakubu v RVN

Power and pace versus spawny Greg Rusedski look-alike goal hanger! My money is on The Yak to do Ruud big style with a right hook in the ninth!

Yak 9pts RVN 8pts

Total score:

Boro 80pts - You Man U? 79pts

Boro to win 1-0
