We don't have a great deal in common with the Newcastle tribe but there is one thing that binds us in a sort of unity - we both treat the Mackems with equal contempt.
So get in the mood for derby day with this wonderful little ditty performed by some quality musicians from Tyneside. We'e been humming it ever since the Coventry match ended and the score from Brentford came through...
The Sunderland match programme will feature all kinds of match build up with a heavy Boro bias, so if any Mackems would like to redress that, please feel free to write in with your stories of past Boro v Sunderland encounters, or anything that you want to say that you would like us to publish.
