FREEDOM BEAR'S ASTON VILLA PREDICTION

The Bear saw last weeks result coming a mile off and so wasn't suprised when Sunderland took an early lead and then comfortably strolled along in the second half to win 2-0.

Just as the bear had stated, there was an obvious lack of passion and creativity and this will continue to be the same until McClaren accepts that both width and pace are required.

After another boring game against Xanthi on Thursday, The Bear can hardly get excited about the prospect of another defeat to a totally futile Villa side.

The Bear is hoping McClaren will quit with his square pegs in round holes routine and opt for a 4-5-1 with Johnson and Morrison on the wings and Rochemback floating in the centre.

However, due to the fact that the side is currently top heavy with strikers, The Bear cannot see anything other than a 4-4-2 - which is currently bad news.

The Bear fully expects a disjointed performance with little to no creativity. Villa will be totally toothless but ultimately will get the one goal to see them through.

The Bear believes the current smog climate is that of McClaren's first season, and doesn't expect anything other than no goals scored away from home.

In fact, The Bear really struggles to see where the goals will come from! It's all well and good having world class strikers, but with no balance and limited creativity, what's the point?

Whilst The Bear feels it is currently beneficial for the smogs to be playing away from home, they can't hide forever, and with the bad results accumulating quicker than a hooker will get her pants off for money, then the anti-mac camp will gain pace fast.

So it's a 1-0 away day defeat to Villa, and a long hard season ahead for the smogs.

The Bear doesn't expect anything other than a lower mid table finish and the end to a tenuous McClaren reign.

Unlike McClaren, The Bear won't ever lose his national fan base.

Those who backed The Bear last week of course revelled in their new found wealth. You know what to do to keep the riches flowing.

TFB. Time for Boo's.
