HAMMERS 2/1 OUTSIDERS
By Andy Schooler of Betting Zone

West Ham are 2/1 outsiders for FA Cup glory after booking a final showdown with Liverpool.

Marlon Harewood's scored the only goal of the game on Sunday against Middlesbrough, blasting home on 78 minutes to send his side through to the Cardiff showpiece.

However, Skybet don't think much of their chances against the Reds, who saw off Chelsea 2-1 in Saturday's first semi-final.

They offer Alan Pardew's side at 2/1 to lift the trophy on May 13, while Liverpool are hot favourites at 4/11.

The two sides meet at Upton Park on Wednesday night in the Premiership in a dress rehearsal for the final.

Meanwhile, Bet365 make West Ham 33/1 to win the UEFA Cup next season - their semi-final win has guaranteed them a place in the competition as Liverpool have already booked a Champions League spot and will therefore not require the UEFA place which goes to the FA Cup winners.

Spokesman Steve Freeth said: "A year ago West Ham were sixth in the Championship and Alan Pardew was hanging onto his job by a thread; there'll be no Hammers fans calling for his head for a while!"
