BOLTON v BORO - TEAM NEWS
Stelios Giannakopoulos has recovered from a groin strain and will return to the Bolton squad for Saturday's Reebok Stadium clash with Middlesbrough.
The Greek midfielder missed the win over Watford but has been declared fit after making good progress on the training ground to give boss Sam Allardyce a timely boost.
Allardyce is still struggling with the absences of Kevin Davies (cheekbone), Henrik Pedersen (Achilles), Joey O'Brien and Ricardo Gardner (both knee).
Middlesbrough's Stewart Downing misses out due to a groin niggle while skipper George Boateng is suspended.
Adam Johnson, 19, will deputise for the England winger and fellow teenager Lee Cattermole is expected to step in for Boateng, who was sent off in last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Arsenal.
Jonathan Woodgate has been named skipper for the Reebok clash and fellow Emirates Stadium debutant Jason Euell is set to retain his place in the XI.
Manager Gareth Southgate is likely to continue his away day policy of playing a lone striker - Yakubu - up front, meaning more bench duty for Mark Viduka.
