CHELSEA v MIDDLESBROUGH - TEAM NEWS
Chelsea are waiting for fitness reports on left-back Wayne Bridge and midfielder Michael Ballack ahead of the home clash with Middlesbrough.
Both players collected thigh injuries on international duty with England and Germany respectively but Khalid Boulahrouz (knee) may be fit and Chelsea also welcome back captain John Terry.
Dutch winger Arjen Robben could return after being sidelined with an ankle injury. Ashley Cole (knee) and Joe Cole (foot) are out.
Middlesbrough striker Mark Viduka remains a doubt.
The 31-year-old withdrew from the Australia squad in midweek with a calf injury and is still struggling, while midfielder Lee Cattermole has been ruled out with a hamstring problem.
Goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer is likely to return from a back strain and new signing Dong Gook Lee will travel to London after being included in the squad for the first time.
