EVERTON v MIDDLESBROUGH - BETTING ZONE PREVIEW
Everton have won this fixture four times in the last five seasons and their 3-2 defeat to Chelsea was only their second home defeat in the Premiership this term.
The Toffees kicked off the busy Christmas period with an impressive 2-0 win at Reading and this is an ideal chance to make it back-to-back wins.
Despite beating hapless Charlton 2-0 on Saturday, Middlesbrough have yet to win away in nine attempts and, on that evidence, the 4/1 about an away win is deserved.
Everton are 4/5 to bag their sixth home win of the campaign and it's hard to argue with that.
It's also worth looking at the odds about Andy Johnson finding the net after he got back on the goal trail with the opener against Reading.
However, he's just 5/4 to find the net and that's giving nothing away.
Verdict: Everton 2 Middlesbrough 0
