HULL CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH - NO RUSH FOR MACCARONE: AGENT

Middlesbrough striker Massimo Maccarone will have to play the waiting game, with no clubs having yet come forward to sign him in the January transfer window.
The Italian forward wants to leave Boro and return to Italy after a disappointing campaign with the Riverside outfit.
Maccarone, who joined Boro in 2002 from Empoli, has been a target of Serie A teams Torino and Siena but neither club has made a bid to acquire the 27-year-old.
"We haven't received any official offers either from Premier League clubs or any Serie A clubs," said the player's agent Paolo Fabbri.
"There are several Italian clubs interested in Massimo but no-one has come forward to make an offer.
"I have a meeting next week with several Serie A clubs and we will see what happens although I don't think the matter will be resolved until January 15.
"The player is under contract with Boro until the summer and hence if a club was interested they would have to negotiate with Middlesbrough although I don't think there should be any problems."
Rock bottom Championship Leeds United had earlier made a loan bid, as reported on this site, but the player rejected this offer.
