Manchester United have had a bad week in the injury department and could be worth taking on at odds-on in their FA Cup quarter-final at Middlesbrough this Saturday.

Their main problems are up front, as Louis Saha and Ole Gunnar Solsjkaer are ruled out injured for a month.

And it's going to get worse for United after Saturday, with Henrik Larsson returning home to Helsingborg.

He could well sign-off with a goal, but the layers are wise to the emotional bet and Larsson is chalked up at a skinny 5/4 to score anytime with some bookmakers.

The FA Cup is also United's third priority now they have safely secured their passage to the Champions League quarter-finals, and Ferguson may rest some of his stars to avoid further injuries ahead of the business end of the campaign.

Middlesbrough could have been pushing for a European place in the Premiership had they performed on the road, as they have collected as many home points as Bolton and they lie in fifth.

They have held Arsenal and Liverpool at the Riverside in the league, and they proved early on in the season that they can cause an upset at big odds when they beat Chelsea thanks to a last minute strike from Mark Viduka.

When Viduka is on form, Middlesbrough are a different proposition and the Australia forward has been playing well in recent weeks in tandem with dangerous marksman Yakubu.

The latter has scored 15 goals this season, including four in the FA Cup, and if Boro' are to cause an upset it could well be Yakubu who instigates it.

He is also nominated penalty-taker and makes plenty of appeal at a standout 11/4 to score anytime with Totalbet .

Though there are plenty of positives for Middlesbrough, they have made hard work of their FA Cup passage so far having relied on a replay in each round and even penalties last time against West Brom.

They are 3/1 to progress to the semi-finals but if they are to beat Manchester United their best chance will be at the first time of asking, so the 9/2 about a Middlesbrough win on Saturday looks worth chancing to small stakes.

Verdict: Middlesbrough 2 Manchester United 1
