GENERAL STATS
Middlesbrough and Reading have only ever played twelve matches against each other in the League. Boro have the upper hand, winning four to Reading's two. There have been six draws between the two sides.
The last time Middlesbrough faced Reading on the opening day of the season was 25 August 1928 where George Camsell and Joseph Peacock scored the goals in a 3-2 success.
