MIDDLESBROUGH v SHEFFIELD UNITED - BETTING ZONE PREVIEW
By Jonathan Turner
Boro haven't been the easiest side to weigh up this season but just one win in nine is relegation form and they make absolutely no appeal here at odds-on across the board.
A glance at the table shows the Blades have now moved above them following their superb win over Arsenal at the weekend but that's not reflected in the prices.
There was no fluke about the 1-0 success against the Gunners and it was all the more noteworthy given that several key players missed out while Phil Jagielka was forced to play in goal for the final half hour after an injury to Paddy Kenny.
Boss Neil Warnock made six changes - leaving the likes of Claude Davis, Rob Hulse, Michael Tonge and Danny Webber on the bench - seemingly with Monday's match the real priority.
It was therefore a massive bonus to take the points and the Blades look overpriced to follow up here.
Verdict: Middlesbrough 0 Sheffield United 1
