MIDDLESBROUGH v SPURS BETTING ZONE PREVIEW
By Dave Tindall
Boro's unexpected but deserved point at Old Trafford took them onto the 40pts mark and that should be enough to avoid any last-minute relegation worries.
But despite that confidence booster, they remain a hard team to predict.
Although they've banked nine home wins this season, recent Riverside defeats against Aston Villa and Manchester City suggest they can hardly be relied upon.
Spurs, too, have mixed in too many indifferent results to be trustworthy.
They've failed to win any of their last five games and you get the feeling that star man Dimitar Berbatov is getting increasingly frustrated at those around him.
It's interesting to recall that these two shared six goals in this fixture last season as Spurs have been involved in high scoring draws - 2-2, 3-3 and 2-2 - in their last three games.
In fact 18 of Tottenham's last 20 games have seen at least three goals so getting just under even money on over 2.5 goals in this one seems a must.
Verdict: Middlesbrough 2 Spurs 2
