WEST HAM v MIDDLESBROUGH - WOODGATE BACK FOR BORO
Middlesbrough are hoping defender Jonathan Woodgate will be fit for Saturday's Premiership clash at West Ham.
The 27-year-old was sent home from the England camp with a knee problem and has been having treatment since.
However, it is in midfield that manager Gareth Southgate has bigger problems with Julio Arca (groin) struggling and Lee Cattermole and James Morrison suspended.
Matthew Upson is still recovering from a calf injury and has been ruled out for the Hammers.
Danny Gabbidon (groin) and Nigel Quashie (ankle) will need a reserve-team match next week before returning, while Calum Davenport (foot) is also struggling.
Striker Dean Ashton is out for the season as he recovers from an ankle injury.
