What a lovely day I had yesterday. If you remember back to last Wednesday, I placed a large arbitrage bet on the Australia v Japan game. I stood to lose around a tenner, whatever the result but gain a minimum of £85 in free bets.

The bet was settled immediately and the bonus was paid into my account just a few hours later. I laid out a total of £185 on Australia v Japan and ended up with £275 cash plus a £25 free bet from Stan James

I enjoyed the Czech result as well as we have backed them to win Group E as part of the second favourites series which is detailed in the summary below. I'll be cheering the Swiss on today as they are backed for Group G. I'm getting more confident about the second favourites series with every game.
Once again, I didn't get the chance to play poker again on Monday because I'm just totally maxed out with the World Cup but whatever happens today, I will definitely play a few hands at
Betting wise, today is a bit of a quiet one with just Switzerland to follow but there is a good chance that I will back Brazil to win tonight as part of the 'dead-cert' series. I just need to think about it a little more first.

The potential from the outstanding bets is hinging on the second favourites series. We really could do with at least three second favourites to win their groups but even if we end up with a small minus on stage one of the programme, we'll easily claw that back when we start cahing in the free bets that we have accumulated.
I came up with the best way to do that yesterday but we'll have to wait until the knockout phase begins before we can start with that.
