FA CUP TICKETS ON GENERAL SALE
By Middlesbrough FC
All remaining tickets for Boro’s FA Cup quarter-final home clash with Cardiff City are on general sale as from 9.30am this morning (Wednesday March 5).
All tickets are now priced £15 adults, £10 over-65s and £5 under-16s.
Boro are predicting a sell-out for the last eight tie, following huge demand online, via the tickets hotline and in person over the last six days.
Monday saw Boro’s daily record smashed for online and telephone sales with over 6,600 tickets sold via the two methods.
Tickets can be purchased via Boro’s official website at the club's official website or via the club’s tickets hotline on 0844 499 1234.
Supporters can also purchase tickets from the main Riverside ticket office. Planned opening times are: Wednesday March 5 9.30am-7pm; Thursday-Friday March 6-7 9.30am to 5pm; Saturday March 8 9.30am-4pm; Sunday March 9 9.30am-2pm kick-off. These times may be revised if all FA Cup tickets are sold.
Non-season card holders are advised to hold on to their ticket stubs both from the quarter-final tie and from the fifth round tie against Sheffield United as these may be required at a later date.
Boro spokesman Dave Allan said: “There has been great demand for tickets and we expect that to continue.
“We apologise to those supporters who have had to wait in queues, either in person or on the telephone, to book tickets but our team of tickets staff have been working flat out to provide the best possible service at a period of high demand.”
