CATTERMOLE PROMOTES HEALTHY LIFESTYLE MESSAGE
By Middlesbrough FC

Lee Cattermole visited Caldicotes Primary School, Middlesbrough on Thursday (April 24) to inspire young pupils into choosing a healthy lifestyle.

The England U-21 midfielder was supporting the activities being delivered by MFC in the Community's qualified health workers and also took part in a question-and-answer session with pupils and teachers.

Pioneering community work has been a feature at the school for the past two years, with students regularly briefed on health, diet and anti-smoking messages. The work has been possible through extensive funding from Middlesbrough Primary Care Trust, who lead the way when it comes to promoting healthy lifestyle messages across the region.

MFC in the Community's Enterprise and Health Manager, Anthony Emmerson, says: "We are delighted that Lee joined in with the sessions at Caldicotes. Our teaching is really brought to life through player participation."
