CHRIS BEAN'S BORO BETTING PREVIEW 10-8-07
Christoper Bean

Hello everyone and welcome to my new weekly betting column. I will be
looking at the best odds for the upcoming weekend's fixtures, the best
offers from online bookmakers and my tips for the weekend.
Fixtures
Middlesbrough v Blackburn
We start off with Boro's curtain raiser at the Riverside, a tricky game against a resilient Blackburn.
In the last couple of seasons Middlesbrough have struggled against Rovers and the matches have tended to be low scoring affairs.
I feel that there will only be an odd goal in it so I will be backing a
1-0 victory for either side.
Extrabet currently have the best odds at the moment with Boro at 7/1 and Blackburn at 15/2.
Also as an added bonus Extrabet are currently offering a £25 free matched bet. So if you bet £25 on Boro to win 1-0, you really have £50 on the selection.
Also you can take advantage of Extrabet 's "Quit While Your Ahead" service. Click the link to find out more .
Aston Villa v Liverpool
Fernando Torres will get his first taste of Premiership action this
weekend at Villa Park as Liverpool make the trip to Birmingham.
In the last
four
seasons Liverpool have failed to pick up a win on the opening day of
the
season, with the last three being draws against Sheffield United,
Middlesbrough and Aston Villa.
I believe that history could repeat itself. Sky Bet have odds of 17/2 for
0-0
and 6/1 for 1-1 and that is too good to resist.
Also Sky Bet are offering
a
free £20 bet this weekend. Click the link for further details .
Bolton v Newcastle
It has been a bit of a baffling summer for the Geordie faithful. It
started
off well for them nicking Viduka from Boro followed by Joey Barton and
finally getting rid of FFS. Then everything started to unravel.
Firstly
the
new owner Mike Ashley revealed that there was a massive debt that
needed to
be cleared.
Then Joey Barton broke his foot, and looks like he is going
to
be sent down for assault. Pity eh?
Newcastle kick off the new season by going to Sam Allardyce's
old
stomping ground, where his former second in command has taken the
reigns.
It should be a feisty game but I can see Newcastle just nicking this
game
2-1, which has odds of 10/1 with Premier Bet.
Premier Bet have got a special deal, where if your first bet with them is a
winner
you will get an added bonus up to £250. For further details click here.
The Bean Tip
My tip for this weekend is a five match accumulator. I have backed
Chelsea,
Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton to win their home matches and a
draw
between Villa and Liverpool.
With Betfred you get odds of 10/1
for
this accumulator. I have whacked a fifty on it as you get a free £50 bet with Betfred, an offer that is available this weekend only.
Remember - it's not gambling if you are always winning.
Until Tuesday, happy punting.
