Hello one and all and welcome to Betting With Bean for Wednesday's Premier League matches. This column is committed to finding the best odds and bonus deals so that you don't have to. Now you do not have to take my advice, but the offers below are still valid. Please remember odds can change and they are correct at time of writing.

I am currently in discomfort at the moment. At the start of each new season I get constipated with excitement, so I always need some form of medication to help loosen things up a bit. With me being clueless with pharmaceuticals I ended up taking some Imodium, so now I have a bigger tailback in my intestine than the M40 on Sunday.

Anyhow let's crack on with the matches!

Wigan v Middlesbrough

After a promising performance but a disappointing result, Middlesbrough head west to the JJB Stadium. Boro have had a good record in the past at the home of Northern Soul. Out of three fixtures they have won twice and drawn once.

Wigan looked to be competitive against Everton on Saturday but lacked the cutting edge up front. As proven in the past it takes rookie managers a few games to get bedded into their new role and I reckon this will be Wigan's downfall tonight.

I predict a 2-1 victory to Middlesbrough which is 11/1 with Betfred. Betfred have currently got an offer of a free £25 bet. Click here for more details.

Birmingham v Sunderland

It was an exciting weekend for both of these teams. Birmingham more than held their own against Chelsea and were unlucky to not take any points back to the Midlands, whereas biannual strugglers Sunderland kick started their campaign with a last minute win over Tottenham which saw them top the league for three hours. Who'd have thunk it?

The past few meetings between these two have regularly being tight affairs. The majority of the results have been 1-0 but with both teams quite attacking minded this could well be a goals galore match.

I am going to go for a 2-2 final score (18/1 with Extrabet), but I am confident that there will be goals in this game so my tip is to back 3.5 goals or more at 7/2 with Bet365. Not only that, you will be eligible for a free £100 bet basket. Click Bet365 for further details.

Portsmouth v Manchester United

Both teams will be disappointed with their stuttering starts to the season, both having drawn against teams you would expect them to beat. Last term Portsmouth managed to beat United 2-1 thanks to a calamitous own goal from Rio Ferdinand.

It should be an intriguing encounter with both teams going hell for leather to get the first win of the season. It will be close to call but I think a certain Argentinean will get the only goal. For United to win 1-0 and Tevez to be the scorer you can get odds of 20/1 with the new betting firm Betterbet, who are also offering a free £25 bet when you sign up.

Well that's me done for the week. Unfortunately I will not be able to do a preview for this weekend as I will be stuck in some mud in rural Staffordshire getting tortured by the warbling of Mika sipping wine from the bladder of the wine box. Joyous day.

Until next time - it ain't gambling if you always win!
