It has been a disappointing week if you are a Boro fan. It started off last Saturday when Sunderland nicked a last minute equalizer which left a bitter taste in the mouth and also demolished all of the attacking options for Middlesbrough.

This was followed by a disappointing exit from the Carling Cup at White Hart Lane. Never mind, at least they beat the Mags in the Premier League Allstars!

Now let's get down to business. Not to be big headed or anything, but I have been rather successful this season. If you have put a fiver on all of my predictions (which totals £85) you will now be up by £95.

That's right - you would have amassed £180 and that's not including the free bets and bonuses you would have gained from the bookmakers. So read this column and it will line your pockets with cash!

On to this weeks games;

Manchester City v Newcastle

We start off this week with the Saturday lunchtime kick off where Newcastle travel to Fortress Eastlands where they will face third place Manchester City.

When Big Sam came to the helm at St James' the expectations of many were that he would bring stability, yet they are erratic as ever. They are capable of crushing Bolton away and West Ham at home, yet they succumb to Derby and Arsenal reserves.

Manchester City have been rather resolute this season. They are yet to concede a goal at home and they are keeping up with their City rivals United.

I anticipate this is going to be a hard fought game, but Newcastle have not had much luck at the City of Manchester Stadium. Since City left Maine Road the Magpies have only chalked up two points and scored one goal.

So for me history and form are dictating a 1-0 win to Manchester City. The best odds available at the moment for a 1-0 win are 7/1 with Betterbet. You can claim a free £25 bet from Betterbet by clicking here.

Birmingham v Manchester United

Sir Alec will be looking to lift the air of embarrassment currently shrouded around the Stretford End this Sunday after a shock win for Coventry in the Carling Cup. United may have put a weakened team out but it is the first time lower league opposition have won at Old Trafford since York City in 1995.

They now have a tough trip to Birmingham who showed how resistant they are last week when they held Liverpool to a goalless draw at Anfield.

This is a must win game for the Red Devils but goals are still a struggle for the champions, but they will do just enough and I am going with a 1-0 win, just like their Manchester neighbours. The odds are 6/1 with Sky Bet. Open an account and you can claim yourself a free £20 bet. Click for more details.

Everton v Middlesbrough

A rather tough match ensues for Middlesbrough as they travel to Liverpool to play the Toffees. There is not a lot going for the Boro going into this match. Firstly we hardly ever win in the vicinity of Merseyside, most of the strike force is crocked and it will be the first time Yakubu will face Boro since leaving for £11.5M, so he is bound to score. He's 11/2 to score the first goal with Betfred if you are interested.

I really would like to believe Middlesbrough could get a result, but I am not here to write about my dreams of Boro winning each week. I am here to make you money and it is a pretty much dead cert Everton are going to win this one.

Boro will give them a game but the Scousers shall overcome, winning 2-1. That is 7/1 with Paddy Power where you can get a free bet of up to £25 in an exclusive deal for ComeOnBoro.com readers. Just click here to take it...

That is me done for another week. And remember it is not gambling if you always win!
