After an interesting week in Europe we now suffer the aftermath of UEFA meddling because for the first time ever we only had one match kicking off at the traditional Saturday 3:00pm start.

There are a ridiculous eight Premier League matches today, which led to B&Q stocking up on Autumnal Fusion Magnolia paint for Saturday.

Last week another one of my predictions came in on the nose. OK it was probably the most predictable result of last weekend but I told you to get your money on Manchester United to beat Birmingham 1-0 which was priced at 6/1.

That now means if you have put a fiver on all of my predictions, you would have gained £215, coming from a combined stake of £100. That is £115 profit, a week's shopping and a night out.

If you have missed out previously, do not miss out this week. The online bookies are open all day.

Arsenal v Sunderland

The Gunners will be looking to regain their lead at the top this lunchtime as they welcome Sunderland, who will be making their first appearance at the Emirates Stadium.

If Arsenal avoid defeat they will take their unbeaten record up to twenty in all competitions. Their last defeat was against West Ham in April last season.

And I think they will do just that. The Mackems are on a hiding to nothing. The last three times Sunderland were in Islington they conceded three goals, and I can see exactly the same again.

I will go for a 3-0 win to Arsenal.

The best odds are at Ladbrokes at 7/1. Once registered you will be contacted with loads of special offers from one of the High Street's most reputable bookmakers.

Manchester City v Middlesbrough

A difficult task is in store for Middlesbrough today as they travel across the Pennines to enter Fortress Eastlands to try and halt Manchester City's 100% record.

This match was originally scheduled for May, but due to the City of Manchester Stadium hosting the UEFA Cup final, the match has been rearranged for this weekend.

Boro have a rather good record at Manchester. Since leaving Maine Road City have only recorded one victory. That came last season with a solo effort from Georgios Samaras. This was also the ground where Boro cemented their seventh place finish three seasons ago which guaranteed UEFA Cup qualification.

It is a very tall order but I fancy Boro nicking a point on Sunday, largely down to the good record Boro have there. I also believe Sven's luck is due to run out sometime soon.

I will go for a 1-1 draw which is 6/1 with Extrabet , who will match your first bet up to £25. So if you place £25 on a selection, you will have £50 on it. Extrabet also have the unique "quit while you're ahead" feature. Click here for more details .

Fulham v Portsmouth

This week's Super Sunday match is a clash between two goal happy sides. In the last few weeks Fulham have notched up two 3-3 draws at home against Tottenham and Manchester City, whilst who can forget the demolition derby at Fratton Park last week when Portsmouth won 7-4.

I believe these two teams will continue the goal glut so that's why I strongly advise you to bet on there being more than 2.5 goals which is evens with Victor Chandler.

But keep an eye out on the exchanges like Betfair who will almost certainly fluctuate to give you a better price.

Back to the actual result - I can see it being a 2-2 draw. I base this on the fact that Fulham have more X's in their form column than a top shelf in a shady newsagent's.

The best odds are 14/1 with Boylesports, where you will be able to claim up to £100 in free bets.

That's me done for another week. And remember it ain't gambling if you always win!
