My name is Craig Parr. I'm 23 years old and I live in Middlesbrough.
I have been a
fan ever since I was a child and have been going to games since then. I became a
season ticket holder five years ago.
I've lived in Middlesbrough all my life, apart from
a stint in Birmingham. I always travelled back for games whenever possible when I lived in the Midlands.
I love Middlesbrough and the Teesside region because it gives me and others a sense
of identity. This is something that a lot of people can relate to and talk about without even
knowing the person they are speaking to. It is something that gets people talking in such
a way that is intriguing and exciting on many levels.
The Boro excite you, frustrate you and
annoy you but that's what makes them so great, the kaleidoscope of emotions that they
can put you through.
My favourite Middlesbrough memories are obviously The Carling Cup Final, Job's
scissor kick against Lisbon, and the demolishing of Chelsea 3-0 and of Manchester United 4-1
at the Riverside in the 2005-06 season.
My favourite Boro player of recent times is George Boateng and my favourite overall player of
recent times is Dennis Bergkamp.
