INTO THE VALLEY OF SMOG THEY RODE

The armies of Smog will destroy all in their path as we march past Lazio on to glory, victory and triumph in Europe. Here's our pre match prediction.
Into the valley of Smog they rode, they were fourty thousand strong
Fearsome warriors, hardened souls, they'd ridden all night long
Were they a match for McClaren's men, this Roman team in blue?
Would we be singing victory songs- nobody had a clue
UEFA had made the Italian side favourites to win the cup
But they never counted on getting drawn with Boro in their group
They may have a big reputation, they may have Di Canio in their side
But we have the might of Ironopolis and heaps of Teesside pride
Stewey Downing swung his sword and a Roman striker fell
Southgate gave the battle cry- let's give these Spicko's hell
So we ran them ragged in midfield and put their defence to the sword
Viduka passed to Jimmy who stormed right through and scored
The Italians left the Riverside with their reputation gone
Middlesbrough had beaten them by seven goals to none
We were now truly established as a European force
And when they draw the next round, the others will fear the worst
In the post match interview, McClaren was heard to say
"I'm proud of all the lads because we ran them off the park today
The fans were great as they cheered us on and I love the way we played
With Jimmy Floyd and Mark and Stew, Europe should be very afraid"
