RIVERSIDE 2 ICELAND 3 - MATCH REPORT

Iceland started brightly and had the majority of the early possession but against the run of play Riverside scored first.

Iceland continued playing there passing game and were rewarded when Paul Muthana played a defence splitting pass to left midfielder Craig Owens, who burst into the penalty area only to be brought down (penalty).

Cheyne McDonald stepped up but put his effort wide.

After missing a couple more chances McDonald was showing frustration.

Just when it looked like it wasn't his day McDonald got the equaliser just before half time.

From the restart Iceland were sitting too deep and allowing Riverside possession in dangerous areas, it was only a matter of time before Riverside regained their lead.

The goal woke Iceland up and with Muthana and Owen making probing passes Iceland took control. McDonald again got the equaliser and with five mins to go Iceland got the winner.
