BIRMINGHAM CITY v MIDDLESBROUGH - WOODGATE A CONCERN FOR BORO
Middlesbrough boss Gareth Southgate has a concern over England defender Jonathan Woodgate ahead of the Boxing Day trip to Birmingham.
The 27-year-old has had to be substituted in three of the last four games because of cramp, and the club's medics are currently trying to get to the bottom of the problem.
Fabio Rochemback is available after serving a one-match ban at the weekend, but Gary O'Neil (hamstring) is struggling once again while Andrew Taylor (foot), Chris Riggott (calf) and Mido (groin) are still out.
Birmingham are boosted by the return of skipper Liam Ridgewell for the clash.
The former Aston Villa defender, who looks set to replace Radhi Jaidi, missed Saturday's trip to Bolton as he was serving a one-match ban after collecting five bookings.
Boss Alex McLeish is also poised to recall striker Mikael Forssell to play alongside Cameron Jerome in attack.
