BLACKBURN ROVERS v MIDDLESBROUGH - BETTING ZONE PREVIEW
Blackburn head into this on the back of three straight wins in the Premier League but it may pay not to get too carried away with that stat as Bolton, Sunderland and Derby hardly represent the top flight's elite.
And further evidence that they aren't yet anywhere near the top of their game came with their 4-1 FA Cup defeat at home to Coventry a couple of weeks ago.
It's also got to be a major concern for Mark Hughes that his side continue to give their opponents a goal start with alarming regularity.
Indeed they've conceded the first goal in no fewer than 12 of their last 13 matches and it's a 15/8 chance that Boro extend that sequence on Saturday.
However Boro's inconsistency shows no signs of improving as recent results have been a real mixed bag - with a win at Portsmouth and a useful draw against Liverpool interspersed with defeats against Everton, Birmingham and West Ham.
With question marks against both sides we'll therefore leave this one well alone.
Verdict: Blackburn 1 Middlesbrough 1
