MIDDLESBROUGH v CARDIFF CITY - ROCHEMBACK UNSURE OVER FUTURE
Middlesbrough midfielder Fabio Rochemback insists he still does not know where his future lies.
Boro have a two-year option on the Brazilian, but it is understood they have not yet exercise this.
However, the Teesside have another two months to decide whether to extend Rochemback's stay and the player can do little but wait and see.
A host of clubs in Portugal and his homeland Brazil have been tracking him and have confirmed their interest.
Former club Sporting Lisbon have long been linked with a move but they like all the other clubs will have to wait until the summer - Rochemback has confirmed.
"For Sporting or any club, I finish my current deal with Boro this June and I don't know my future," he told Portuguese radio station Antena 1.
"My objective now is to finish the season in the best possible manner."
Rochemback admitted he would love the chance to return to Sporting.
"I have a lot of love for Sporting and Portugal, it is a country where I am always very happy," he said.
"I am professional and open to any propositions and if an offer arrives from Portugal, I will study it.
"But I am happy at Middlesbrough so we will see what happens."
After failing to settle at Boro following his move to the club in 2005, Rochemback has become a crucial part of Gareth Southgate's side and his performances this year have singled him out as one of the club's top performers.
