Paddy McCarthy will be Crystal Palace's major absentee for the Championship clash against Boro.
He has missed the last two matches after damaging the shoulder he had surgery on at the start of the year. This means that Jose Fonte and Claude Davis are likely to play at the back again.
Freddie Sears may start after coming on at half-time against QPR in mid-week. His recovery from a groin injury appears to have been successful.
Calvin Andrew (knee) will sit out whilst Lee Hills and Darryl Flahavan have been loaned out to Oldham.
