ENGLAND v CROATIA - PLETIKOSA LABELS ENGLAND "ARROGANT"
Croatia goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa has labelled the England side 'arrogant' ahead of the Euro 2008 clash between the sides on Wednesday.
England were handed a lifeline after Russia lost to Israel, leaving them needing just a draw against Croatia to qualify for next summer's finals.
And Pletikosa, who plays his club football for Spartak Moscow, insists England should focus on their performance.
"When England had little chance of getting out of the group they had a go at us," he told The Sun.
"They said they were stronger and we were lucky.
"They forgot we beat them by two goals at home but we did not pay any attention to their arrogance and did what we had to do."
