MIDDLESBROUGH v LIVERPOOL - BETTING ZONE PREVIEW
With Sam Allardyce successfully removed, the press can now give their full attention to Rafa Benitez. And if Liverpool don't justify the odds-on quotes by taking all three points here, the Spaniard will no doubt get it in both barrels again.
The worry for Benitez is that he's never even seen his side score a goal at the Riverside never mind record a win so this will be far from easy.
Boro have a good record against the 'Big Four' in front of their own fans so it may not be that important that their home record this season is so poor - W2 D3 L5.
Three of the last four Middlesbrough v Liverpool fixtures at the Riverside have ended 0-0 while the Reds also played out a goalless draw in their last away match in the Premier League despite having the best of the game at Manchester City.
Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres may be able to nick the win but if Boro can keep them silent the Anfield side are really struggling for goals from elsewhere.
Liverpool have already played out three 0-0 draws on the road this term, so the value has to lie in the no goalscorer market at 10/1.
Verdict: Middlesbrough 0 Liverpool 0
