Steven Reid will be missing for QPR as they take on the Boro at Loftus Road.

The on-loan Blackburn midfielder has a hamstring injury. This leaves Rangers light in midfield as Martin Rowlands and Gavin Mahon are still out with knee issues.

Rowan Vine could be on the bench as he has recovered from a hernia operation and Angelo Balanta is close to returning too.

Kaspars Gorkss and Peter Ramage could be recalled in defence after boss Jim Magilton criticised his back-line after they conceded two goals against Coventry.

Gary O'Neil will return to boost Middlesbrough as they travel to QPR. He missed last week's draw at Peterborough through suspension.

Jeremie Aliadiere is still out whilst Seb Hines (knee), Caleb Folan (hamstring) and Matthew Bates (cruciate ligament) won't feature either.
